Using AutoImager, remote users can quickly and easily install new PCs with the configuration provided by the central IT organization. Configuration centers, PC manufacturers and corporate helpdesks can include a single self-executing image file on CD along with the PC as it goes to the user. In case of disk corruption or drive failure, the enduser can re-install the PC very quickly with a simple one-step procedure.

Create a Self-Executing Disk Image File
Distribute this file with new PCs to be used for disaster recovery. This provides endusers an extremely simple recovery solution. They can simply insert the CD containing the file into their CD ROM drive and type one command. They will be prompted to be sure they wish to overwrite the drive and the rest will happen automatically.  

This works equally well for remote PC deployment. Use AutoInstall to help non-technical people at remote sites deploy PCs. Simply send them the self-executing image file, insert into CD drive and tell it to go.  

Custom Splash Screen  
Vendors or System integrators can include their own promotional or informational splash screen the user will see during the installation or recovery process. Use this to provide information on obtaining technical support, or to promote new products or services.  

File system and Operating System Independent  
Like RapiDeploy, AutoImager works with any PC file system and any operating system including all FAT file systems, NTFS, HPFS, NetWare, Unix, DOS, Windows 3.11/95/98, Windows NT, and OS/2.  

Works with RapiDeploy and LabExpert  
AutoImager works equally well with LabExpert and RapiDeploy. AutoImager image files can be read and used by either product as if they were simple image files.  

Conversion of Image Files to Self-extracting files  
For AutoImager will convert existing image files to the self-extracting format so you don’t have to go through the entire imaging process from scratch.
