| pcAnywhere Solution is the standard remote control application for the Altiris platform. It is a centrally managed application for remote administration and helpdesk support in a corporate environment. Notification Server is included to provide central management. And, Access Server is included to expand connectivity options with support for internet-based connections and the ability to host an on-demand agent. pcAnywhere Solution provides the following capabilities: Client access over LAN, WAN, and Internet; Intiate remote sessions from the Altiris web-based console using industry leading pcAnywhere technology and conduct file transfers from computer to computer; Centrally manage agent deployment and configuration through the Altiris console; Customize agent security settings based on user roles and define computer scopes to manage remote control access; Reports and notification policies validate agent security settings and show remote session details.
