eiPowerSaver provides a simple solution to imminent "green fines"
Tuesday, 31 August 2010 14:44

The Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) introduced by the Environment Agency, will have a dramatic effect on all businesses across the UK. The scheme will be enforced from September 2010, which could leave many companies incurring fines. The scheme’s imminent deadline could result in businesses being handed an immediate £5000 fine and a further £500 for each day they are not compliant.

The pressing issue regarding the Carbon Reduction Commitment scheme is the lack of awareness from businesses; as less than 50% of companies have not yet comitted. It is these companies that will be subjected to the immediate fines.

As part of a solution to combat the effects of the CRC scheme, Codework introduces eiPower Saver. Following the implementation of this simple solution, customers can enjoy savings of £10-£65 per computer; via the use of a central console. Installing the eiPower Saver can dramatically reduce energy consumption, in turn increasing financial savings and reducing carbon emissions. The eiPower Saver Solution provides a means of monitoring and managing the energy consumption of laptops, desktops and servers.

As the CRC scheme deadline approaches this is a fantastic opportunity to increase customer awareness of the impending fines and to introduce them to the eiPower Saver Solution.
